How do ZimSignal markets work?

ZimSignal markets are parimutuel. Everyone who backs the same outcome puts money into a shared pool. There are no fixed odds — your potential return depends on how the YES and NO pools stand when the market resolves.

When a market resolves, the losing pool is shared out among everyone who backed the winning outcome, in proportion to their stake. The percentages you see are a snapshot of the current pools, not a guaranteed payout.

What fees does ZimSignal charge?

ZimSignal charges a flat 2% fee on winnings only. If your position loses, no fee applies. The fee is taken from your share of the pool at resolution, so the payout you see already reflects it. A separate $1.00 fee applies to each withdrawal.

Are there limits on trading, deposits, and withdrawals?

Withdrawals have a minimum of $5.00 and are capped at $1,000.00 in any rolling 24-hour period. Each withdrawal carries a flat $1.00 fee.

To keep accounts secure, some actions are rate-limited over short windows. If you hit a limit, wait a moment and try again.

How do I deposit and withdraw money?

Deposits and withdrawals are handled through EcoCash and InnBucks. Add money from your Account screen, choose your channel, and confirm the prompt on your phone.

Withdrawals are reviewed before the payout is sent to your registered mobile-money number, so they may not be instant. You can track the status in your transaction history.

What is the dispute window?

After a market resolves, there is a 6-hour dispute window. If you believe a result is wrong, you can flag it during that window from the market page. Payouts for a resolved market are released once the dispute window has closed and any flags have been reviewed.

Responsible use and age requirement

ZimSignal is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Only stake what you can afford to lose, and never treat it as a source of income.
