ZimCast Privacy Policy (v1)

This policy explains what ZimCast collects and how it is used. ZimCast is not a bank and not a crypto service.

1. What we collect. We collect your phone number, full name, a self-entered national ID, and your trading, deposit, and withdrawal activity. The national ID is self-entered and is NOT verified against any third-party or government database.

2. Why we collect it. We use this information to operate your account, run the parimutuel markets you trade in, process EcoCash and InnBucks payments through Paynow Zimbabwe, calculate the 2% settlement fee on winnings, enforce trade limits ($0.50 minimum / $500 maximum per trade, $1000 exposure per market) and withdrawal limits ($5 minimum, $1 fee, $1000 per rolling 24 hours), and send you in-app and SMS notifications.

3. Payments. Payment details for EcoCash and InnBucks are handled by Paynow Zimbabwe; ZimCast records only the references and statuses needed to credit deposits and settle withdrawals.

4. Age. ZimCast is for users aged 18 and older only.

5. Retention & disputes. We retain account and financial records, including the 6-hour dispute window history on resolved markets, for audit and legal compliance.
